Bradley Dart joined the Polymath Project team in June 2009. He introduces himself below:
I was born in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, where I continue to live and study. I love listening to music (jazz, classical and rock) and playing trombone, guitar and drums. As well, I spend a fair amount of time walking and appreciating nature. I am a Humanist and am committed to personal development, so I try constantly to improve not only my intellectual well-being, but my social, psychological, emotional, physical and “spiritual” health. I spend most of my time, however, day-dreaming, engaging in introspection, and playing with ideas.
I am currently pursuing a B.Sc. (Hons) in applied mathematics and physics and a B.A. in philosophy at Memorial University of Newfoundland, and online certificates in educational psychology and psychotherapy from Stonebridge Associated Colleges. I have published two papers in mathematics (both in algebra), and I hope to continue with graduate studies in mathematics and philosophy. My academic interests, however, span the arts and the sciences. It is for this reason that I feel strongly attached to the idea of an interdisciplinary university, where students have the freedom to study what inspires them to learn.
