Starting a university is a lofty goal. It cannot be accomplished alone. Whether you are willing to pledge your ideas, constructive criticism, funds, or time, we would welcome any aid you could bring to the project. Our ultimate end goal is to create a new Renaissance by graduating polymaths that have the breadth, depth, and strength of character and mind required to fully realize their potential and follow their own highly unique artistic and scientific visions. This can be an incomparable boon to humanity.
However, existing institutions, even “elite” institutions, do not even come close to meeting this need and our method contains too many fundamental differences from the status quo to attempt reconciliation with traditional methods of instruction. These ideas must be implemented in a new institution to be adequately put to the test. To make our vision a reality, we need your support.
There are a few primary ways you can join our cause:
Location is unconstrained for now, so long as at least half of the board members are US citizens (this is legally required of us). If we need to conduct board meetings, we can do so online via Skype or IRC. The roles are all just suggestions; anyone can take any seat (and the board can be expanded) if the current board members believe that the prospective member would make a valuable addition to the team. The qualities we look for most are vision, motivation, reliability, and trustworthiness.
Board membership will probably require a small time commitment. It's not very significant yet, but it may eventually become so. If this becomes the case, you may resign from the board whenever you wish and we won't hold it against you (unless it's really in the middle of a crisis). Please contact us if you are still interested.
